Eli Swartz

Hank spends the long Vermont winter listening to music and making marbles with rods of glass and a torch, a process called 'lampworking.' Both Hank and Toby do furnace work making wonderful blown glass pieces & ornaments.
Their son Eli also works with the torch to make his unique Pocket Pets. Eli has been working in glass since he was 9 years old.

Eli did a limited edition of 8 of these
Octopus with top hats for us in the summer of 2002.
There is one yellow one left of the first batch of Octopus.
The 2003 edition is pictured individually below
along with the Dragons, Gecko's and Snakes.

Our stock of marbles turns over fairly quick so these exact marbles may not be available but we probably have something similar and will work with you to find the perfect marble for your collection. Updated 1/15/2010.

Eli's 2003 edition of Dragons (Sold Out) and Octopuses (8 left).

Notice that the wings and crests on each will vary and influence the way the Dragons sit, for those that don't 'sit' well on their own, we will include a stand. With all the Marble Pets he Eli begins by making a clear marble with a transparent blue band around the diameter, this can be seen in some of the shots, it is his signature feature.
The Dragons are about 1 1/4" by 2" tall: $20.00 each, the Octopus are about 1" by 1 1/2" tall: $18.00 each.
